The Mauritius Shipping Corporation Ltd
(MSC LTD) is a State-owned private limited company which owns
and operates a 5234 GRT / 79TEU / 268 passengers multi purpose
vessel, the m/s "MAURITIUS PRIDE" and the new passenger/cargo
vessel the m/s "MAURITIUS TROCHETIA" built in the
People's Republic of China and which was launched officially
on the 19th June 2001. The m/s "MAURITIUS PRIDE" sails
to Rodrigues about 2 to 3 times per month whereas the m/s "MAURITIUS
TROCHETIA" has a monthly call at Port Mathurin, Rodrigues
island. |
